Haberturk claim that Calhanoglu wanted to make the move to Stamford Bridge and even told his international boss, Fatih Terim, that he had completed the switch. But the reports say that the transfer fell through after Leverkusen demanded more than Chelsea were willing to pay. It is claimed that the Blues tabled a £17m offer but that did not meeting Leverkusen's valuation.
